Mrs. Kathrin Espegard, Dr. med., née Köberl, from Stainach/Austria:

• graduated from high school in Austria with good results
• finished her medical studies in Graz in spite of permanent persecution (because she joined the Norwegians) and, while well advanced in pregnancy, she was conferred a doctorate in medicine on June 28, 1988 by the Karl Franzens University in Graz. (This had to happen secretly, as she at the time, was already married and lived in Norway. She has had to travel to Austria several times and wanted this to remain “secret”, as she feared the persons who had shortly before that, kidnapped and tortured her for several days.)
• Her kidnappers declared her “mentally ill”, they allegedly just wanted to rescue her from a “sect”. The forensic medico, after an examination, declared Mrs. Espegard totally sane, “intelligent, well-groomed, sociable and in no way religiously exaggerated”. 
• Additionally, Mrs
  . Espegard underwent a thorough examination by one of the best known psychiatrists, Per Sundby, Dr. soc. med., at the Oslo University, on September 9, 1988. Result (quote): “Kathrin Espegard during the past year, lived a normal life in Norway and gave birth to a little son five weeks ago. She lives a totally normal life in a little Norwegian place where she is well integrated within the local society. I cannot find any indication at all for her way of life being disturbed by any psychic or unnatural social condition.”
